A few Words about Bookmarks
In
this page you will see the extend and the quality of our book-marking system,
For the examples we have used a manual for Tektronix
2247A Oscilloscope, however the same book-marking tree and coding, is used
in ALL our PDF manuals.
The key features are:
Black
for all NON sectioned main chapters ( Top level bookmark, List of
illustrations, list of tables, picture of the instrument, change
Information)
Red
for " Safety" or "
critical adjustments warnings "
Blue
for ALL "
TOP LEVEL" sectioned information,
AND " key subsections " ( Like performance verification
or adjustment procedures)

Bold letters for top level
bookmarks containing sublevels.

The bookmarks are nested to the
deepest possible extend (all sections, subsections, chapters and subchapters,
figures and tables)

Needless to point-out that when
using the free Acrobat reader 6.0 the bookmark tree is also text
searchable .
