A few Words about Text searchable PDF files

All our PDF files are
delivered in text searchable format, this means that you can search for any
word, phrase, part of word etc.
This is done by passing the scanned
image through a character recognition program "OCR", and in our documents we
employ the "searchable image exact" variation of searchable PDF's. this variation
leaves the image file intact.
You can use either Acrobat reader 5.0 6.0
or 7.0 for searching documents for text occurrences , but using version 6.0
and 7.0 extends the search function to the bookmarks area, thus extending the ease of
locating text.
In the following examples we show you
how this is done in both Acrobat versions.

Here we selected the 4th result from the results window, the corresponding page appeared in the middle of the screen.
As it was mentioned before with reader 6.0 and above, you can extend the search to the bookmarks area as well. |
